Oil on canvas
The canvas is made of pure natural linen. A super quality with fine grain and tear-resistant.
The stretcher bars are 45mm thick and are museum quality, which keeps the painting stable and durableand not distorted.

3D wall sculpture
It is made on a 20 mm thick wooden board. The wooden panel is glueded 3 times, so distortion is impossible.

This is how this painting came about
A family man, the client, called me and wanted to give his wife a family portrait for her birthday.
I invited him to my studio to show him my pictures in real life. Because pictures look different in reality than on photos on the Internet. I showed him my work over a cup of coffee. I also explained him my techniques and philosophy. He was convinced that I would be the right person to paint his picture with a very good feeling. We looked at various family photos and discussed what was important to him in order to produce his dream picture.
We looked which size would fit the best in his living room.
While I was working on his picture, I kept sending him photos to keep him up to date. When the painting was finished, he came to the studio with his son to see the end result. They were both very happy with it and very excited to see it hanging at home and give it to his wife as a beautiful present on her birthday.
