Abstrarealism

 

My new series of paintings is like a music album.

Each painting is its own song, each has a different rhythm and a different tone.

 

On this album, I "sing" with the colors red, black, white, blue, green, and yellow against a deep black background.

 

I paint the colors seemingly impulsively, with broad brushstrokes and thick layers of paint. The effect is expressive and three-dimensional.

 

But reality is quite different: I painted them meticulously, with the smallest brush and in great detail.

It could be described as "abstract-realistic painting".

 

I really enjoy playing with perception, surface and depth.
